Daughter of God, you have a purpose!
Many years before I gave my life to Christ, people would often tell me this very thing. No matter how often I'd heard it, I didn't believe it because I felt like I was too dirty on the inside for God to even think of me. I know many women can attest to having similar feelings because of both their past and present mistakes. When having these feelings there is always a root to it. You can always identify the root by examining yourself and spending time with God. As I grew in Christ, I started to see the change in my life. I started to feel uncomfortable and convicted when doing certain activities. I grew out of many things that led to losing “friends” and my desires shifted to not wanting to be involved in activities that were displeasing to God. Little did I know, He was changing me for His glory. I didn’t understand what was going on because I was blinded by so many of my past mistakes, fears, and doubts.
I came here to simply encourage you. DAUGHTER OF GOD, YOU HAVE A PURPOSE! It didn't resonate with me before, but now I can attest to this statement because I get it! I understand that no matter what we go through there is a purpose for everything. God would have never created us if He did not have a purpose. The way to know this is through His word. Do you really believe that? Let me help you, God says to Jeremiah, ”Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” This also reigns true to you, daughter of God. Before God formed you, He already had a purpose for you. He didn’t form you just because He was bored. He already had a plan and a intended purpose just for you. Every trial and tribulation I experience, I always remember that there is a purpose for it. Studying the word of God will help you believe and trust God’s purpose for your life. Don’t ever let anything or anyone in this world make you feel purposeless. You are what the word says about you. You are a daughter of a King and you have a purpose.
